Yahoo Finance, the world’s most popular financial news site, Now gives you the option of buying and/or selling directly from the screen Bitcoin (BTC), Light Cone (LTC) and Ether (ETH), which provides you market data (provided by CryptoCompare).
Although Yahoo also provides information on other cryptocracies, it currently only displays “Buy” and “Sell” for all these three.
This crypto business support comes as a result of a partnership with TradeIt, Which provides an application programming interface (API) infrastructure that “connects retail investors and app developers with any online financial broker.”
The way this works is that if your broker is supported by TradeIt (currently, Two most popular crypto platforms are supported in the U.S., Coincabes, and Robinhood), the user can link their brokerage account to Yahoo Finance (which does not store any of user account details).
In an initial phase, this feature is only available in the U.S. Available in, but if it proves popular with retail investors, It would not be surprising to see that Yahoo gradually launches it in other countries.
